John is very knowledgeable and experienced in real estate transactions. He assisted us in every phase of locating and bidding on a house, making sense of inspections, negotiating prices and repairs, arranging for the title and other formalities in home purchase, and much more. He was constantly in touch with us, including on our financing arrangements with our bank, and he was extremely supportive in what often can be a stressful process. Because we live in the Pacific Northwest, John made a 20- minute walkthrough video of the house we had only seen in static website pictures; we consulted the video every day for months to cement our commitment to purchase and continue to rely on it now as we plan for furnishing. It was my first time working with John and also the first time I was selling a home. John was very thorough in explaining the process and the important step (to me) of listing the house at the right price. What I learned from John is which improvements are important to complete to sell a house at a good price. We had several showings and offers within the first couple of days after the listing. Since I was already living on the east coast, John was great in helping me with the final necessary steps like organizing some repairs after the home inspection and going back to the house frequently to check that everything is still okay. We decided to sell our vacation home in Carefree and we contacted John. He was absolutely fantastic! He went above and beyond what a regular realtor does. We were unable to go down personally to list our place, but John handled everything for us. He walked us through the selling process (which is different then here in Canada) and gave us advice we could count on.
